Advertising Policy

We accept a limited amount of advertising to meet the cost of publishing. These are the terms.

What we accept

Advertising from businesses serving overseas Pakistanis: banks and remittance services, legal and attestation services, surveyors and valuers, translation services, and educational or professional services.

Advertising from housing schemes and developers, subject to the disclosure requirement below.

What we refuse

Advertising from any scheme that cannot produce a current no objection certificate from the relevant development authority for the specific phase being advertised.

Advertising for individual plots, files or units for sale. This site does not carry property listings.

Advertising that states or implies an investment return, a guaranteed price rise, or a valuation.

Advertising that uses urgency — limited time, last plots, price rising Monday — as a selling device.

Advertising from any party engaged in litigation with readers of this site, where we are aware of it.

Disclosure requirement

Any housing scheme or developer advertising here must state, within the advertisement, the name of the approving authority and the no objection certificate number for the phase advertised. Where a phase holds no NOC, it may not be advertised.

Separation from editorial

Advertisers have no influence over what we publish. They are not shown articles in advance, they are not told what is coming, and their advertising is not withdrawn or renewed on the basis of coverage. Advertising space is never sold within a guide, a newsletter section, or a reported-sales entry.

Every advertisement is labelled as an advertisement.

Nothing here is a recommendation

An advertisement on this site is not an endorsement. We do not verify advertisers' claims, we do not inspect their schemes, and we take no responsibility for any transaction a reader enters into with them. Verify independently before paying any money.
