What we store

If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, your language preference, and the date you subscribed. Nothing else.

If you use the contact form: what you write in it, so that we can reply.

If you press the "Was this current?" button on a guide: which guide, and whether you pressed yes or no. This is not linked to you.

Basic anonymous statistics: which pages are read, and roughly where readers are in the world. We do not identify individuals from this.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone. Not with advertisers, not with developers, not with anyone else.

We do not require an account to read anything on this site.

We do not use advertising trackers or build profiles of readers.

Unsubscribing

Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link, and it works in one click. You can also write to us and we will remove you. When you unsubscribe, your address is deleted, not merely marked inactive.

Asking us to delete your data

Write to us and we will delete whatever we hold about you.

If we change this policy we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
